May be just the construction style, psychological (being brought up in Triplicane from Kancheepuram gene!) or the sincerity of religious chants or the Madappalli smell of puliyodharai and sandhanam! he he my part if contribution to North - South divide Temples and all the special days like Ther (car) or utsavam are very good for economy - that is for sure. that is why HR&CE in TN is very selective to get a share of that wealth! Also to occupy lands owned by temples to become more wealthy. In my personal opinion ‘Gods’ are created by humans probably only 12000 years before. Other than humans , none of other life beings whether huge Dinosaurs or small butterflies have ‘God’ fear. Definitely not kill each other fighting in the name of God / Religion. Ideally Politics should only be measured based on Improving quality of life for citizens in each ward with key performance indicators - not based which caste and who has more money.
